Thousands of dollars worth of toys donated to Salvation Army

There are going to be many children in the region with a smile on their face this Christmas when they receive a toy from the Salvation Army.

A large number of those toys were donated in Kitchener today by Larry Kelly, the president of Razor Logistics Transportation INC. With the help of sponsors, he has been donating thousands of dollars worth of toys for the past 18 years.

“We used to get $2,000 to $3,000 worth of toys a year, now we are in to $10,000 to $12, 000.”

The toy drive is part of 570 News and KIX 106 ‘s Secret Santa Toy Drive and Kelly has donated nearly $20,000 worth of toys this year, some of which were also donated to the Grand River Hospital.
