Damage is estimated at between $150,000 and $200,000 following an early morning fire in Kitchener.

Regional Police say everyone inside the Southill Drive residence managed to escape unharmed.

The cause has been been ruled accidental.

Police say nearby homes were also evacuated as a precaution until the fire department had the blaze under control.
