For the fourth year in a row,  the City of Cambridge wants to cancel out your parking ticket in exchange for a toy.

The “Toys for Tickets” program is underway again and it allows residents to pay their parking ticket with a toy that will support the Cambridge firefighters Christmas basket program for local families.

Hardy Bromberg is a director with the City of Cambridge and tells 570 News to date, this toys for ticket program had generated over a thousand toys to help brighten children’s Christmas morning.

The toys for tickets program runs until December 14th.

Simply bring the toy to Cambridge City Hall on Dickson Street, during regular business hours.

The toy must be of equal value or more as payment for the fine.
