The Kitchener Rangers will be starting Friday night hockey 30 minutes sooner than they normally do.

Their home game versus Windsor begins at 7pm on 570 News and Sportsnet. The start time was moved up to accommodate the TV broadcast which will be shown across Canada.

Kitchener is coming off a 3-1 loss to London on Tuesday. The Spitfires have dropped two in a row.

The Rangers will also have to find scoring from other areas as their leader is out indefinitely. As 570′s Mike Farwell reported Thursday, Matt Puempel has a grade one shoulder sprain. He suffered the injury during Tuesday night’s game.
