Waterloo Regional Police are thanking the public for their assistance, after a suspect has been arrested following a number of property crimes.

23-year-old Marouane Zatouf of no fixed address was arrested on Saturday, November 17th in London, Ontario by London Police.

In a release WRPS said Zatouf is currently in custody and will be returned to the Waterloo Region to face the charges, including 17 counts of Theft Under $5,000, and two counts of Break, Enter and Commit.

“WRPS investigators allege that Zatouf targeted student residences in the university district of Waterloo in which cell phones and laptops were taken,” the release said.
