The Canadian Bankers Association is offering a $100,000 reward for information about suspects wanted in four bank robberies, including one in Waterloo.

That robbery occurred the morning of November 1st at a TD branch on Erb Street near Fischer-Hallman.

Two male suspects carrying handguns forced their way into the bank while employees were arriving for work. They left the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The other robberies happened in Oakville, Peel and Hamilton.
 
“To assist with this investigation and demonstrate the seriousness of these crimes, the Canadian Bankers Association and the banking industry in Canada are announcing a reward of up to $100,000 for any public information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for these four violent bank robberies,” said Malcolm Chivers, Manager of Fraud and Security at the Canadian Bankers Association.
