The group known as Short Term International Medical Mission Abroad or STIMMA is going to Haiti to assist the people.

After Hurricane Sandy passed through, many of the Haitian people are living in tent cities, some without the bare necessities.

“It’s all about educating and investing in the Haitian people. Not just going there and building the school but going there and teaching them how to build the school,” says STIMMA ambassador Adele who is also on our sister station, CHYM 96.7.

Baby formula, flip flops and sunglasses are just some of the things you can donate to STIMMA.

All cash donations can be dropped off at the Shoppers Drug Mart at Bridgeport and Weber in Waterloo.
