UW students 1 for 2 on CBC’s Dragons’ Den

University of Waterloo students went 1 for 2 on CBC’s Dragons’ Den on Wednesday night.

Three of the Dragons got in on MappedIn, created by Hongwei Liu and Desmond Choi.

It’s software which also includes a smartphone application, which can be used in malls and will let consumers know where certain products can be purchased.

University of Waterloo students, Alexander Peters and Rohan Mahimker pitched their SMARTeacher software as well.

They received an offer, made a counter offer, which was then turned down by the Dragons.

SMARTeacher is educational software that adjusts to the players emotions.
