First Annual Chefs Gala for the Cure

Food is bringing people together Saturday evening for the first annual Chefs Gala for the Cure.
The Canadian Cancer Society Waterloo Region Unit, in partnership with the Holiday Inn Kitchener-Waterloo Conference Centre will be hosting the first annual Chefs Gala for the Cure with 5 top chefs from Central Ontario.
The Fortis Property Holiday Inn top chefs will be preparing their own dishes for each of the 5 courses served.
The preparation of the courses will be broadcast live so guests can get an interactive feel as chefs go over ingredients.
The Kitchener Holiday Inn’s Events Planner, Robin Kasper tells 570 News the live preparation will have a reality show feel to it.
“We’re going to be showing the plating and talking to the chef.”
The tickets sell for $150 each or $12 hundred dollars for a table of 10 with 190 of the 250 available tickets already sold.
During the evening there will be a live and silent auction with all of the nights proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society.
