The Ministry of Labour is looking into a pair of workplace accidents in the region.
Waterloo Regional Police say a 26-year-old man hurt his leg when he fell from scaffolding at a work site on Fountain Street in Breslau yesterday afternoon.
The man was taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital and his injuries are described as not life-threatening.
Then last night, police say a worker was hurt and taken to hospital after he tripped over a light standard on Kumpf Drive in Waterloo.
Police say the 37-year-old man’s injuries are minor.
