Pair of robberies in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are looking into a pair of robberies in Waterloo.
Police say around 6:30 last night a man claiming to have a knife robbed a Dairy Queen on King Street South.
He’s described as white, in his late teens, wearing a dark hooded jacket and white shorts.
Then, just before 9, a youth was robbed of some personal property in the area of Optimist Park on Northlake Drive.
Police say a friend tried to intervene and was assaulted.
Police are looking for three white males of average height and build.
