Climate change experiment in Cambridge

The Beverly swamp outside of Cambridge is the scene of a climate change experiment today.

Researchers from the University of Waterloo are opening the floodgates to see what happens when a drought stricken area is drenched.

Scientists will monitor the results for the next three days and then spend months examining the data.

The extra water will flow thru the swamp into Spencer Creek and eventually end up in Lake Erie.

The experiment begins at 6:30 this morning.
