New Movie Theatre Coming To Kitchener

Cineplex Entertainment is bringin a new theatre to the ciy of Kitchener.
Expected to open in 2014, the 43,000 square foot theatre will go up across from Fairview Park Mall and have seating for more than 2,000 people in 11 different theatres with 3 of them Waterloo Region’s first VIP auditoriums
President and Chief Executive Officer, Cineplex Entertainment, Ellis Jacob, says in the release “We expect this theatre will become the prime entertainment destination in the Tri-Cities area.”
Vice President of Communications and Investor Relations Pat Marshall was on 570’s Gary Doyle Show and says the theatre will be completely digital and offer guests the chance to watch movies in RealD 3D technology.
Marshall says the 3 VIP Cinemas are open to adults, 19-years and older, only and offer menu service at your seat. She adds guests will enjoy larger, leather seats, with the opportunity to reserve them in advance.
Construction on Cineplex Odeon Fairview Park and VIP Cinemas is expected to start next summer.
