On the road again

A survey by Tom Tom says drivers who have a 30-minute commute will spend, on average, 87 hours a year in traffic.

Its’ new survey finds Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto are among the top five cities in North America when it comes to bad traffic.

Los Angeles is the worst, followed by Vancouver. Montreal is 4th and Toronto comes in at number five.

The survey shows drivers in the top three Canadian cities are hit the hardest by traffic during evening gridlock, which takes more than two-thirds longer compared to when traffic is light.
