The number of people who have become sick after consuming products from X-L Beef has increased from 10 to 11.

A man from Vancouver Island, B.C., is the first in that province to become infected with E-coli, which has led to the largest beef recall in Canadian history.

X-L Beef ,a slaughterhouse in Brooks, Alberta, has recalled more than 2000 products after E.coli was detected in its products.

The BC Centre for Disease Control is not saying which product the man ate before falling ill.
