It is the biggest draw of Kitchener Waterloo Oktoberfest, the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade has wrapped up in downtown Kitchener.

Upwards of 200,000 spectators were expected to attend.

The parade got started a little late at King and Erb and wrapped up at King and Madison in Kitchener.

New this year is an interactive way for those along the route to vote for their favourite float.

They can text their choice for the “People’s Choice Float.”

As well, volunteers were walking along the route, collecting non-perishable food items for the Onkel Hans Food Drive.
