Pedestrian struck by GRT bus

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck on University Avenue in Waterloo.

Police say the incident happened at about 5:30 Friday afternoon on private property.

The 50-year-old Grand River Transit operator was not injured; the 17 year old male pedestrian was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

No charges have been laid at this time. The Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Unit continues to investigate.
