A significant infusion of cash for Kitchener’s Desire2Learn which could lead to a major expansion.

It’s announced it has lined up $80-million in venture capital.

This is huge news, according to Communitech CEO Iain Klugman.  

He says the nation’s largest eLearning software company “has been on a growth trajectory and has already hired more than 200 people in 2012.”

He adds, “this is the latest global success story to emerge here.”

It is the largest Series A round yet for a Canadian software company.
