$5000 is the damage after a fire yesterday afternoon at a Kitchener restaurant.

Officials say the fire at the Red Lobster on King street broke out around 5:30.  

The cause is not considered suspicious and no one was hurt.

The store closed for a while but later re-opened.  

The investigation continues.
