Police have released this sketch of an attempted robbery suspect.

The incident happened just after 11:30pm on Sunday, August 19th near Sydney and Nyberg Street in Kitchener.

A man stepped in front of woman’s car, forcing her to come to a sudden stop.

She thought the man needed help, he approached the car and reached in through the open window, grabbing hold of the driver’s shirt sleeve.  

He demanded the vehicle, but the driver was able to get away. The suspect was
last seen running towards Rockway Golf Course.

Suspect description : white, approximately 39 years of age, 5’9″,  thin build, dirty blonde hair, balding at the front, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with an unknown company name and logo and the word FLOORING in black lettering or a logo on the front, baggy blue jeans and dark shoes.

The suspect may have injured his arm during the incident.
