Man struck by car during robbery attempt in Kitchener

On the 23 August 2012, just before noon, a 30 year old Kitchener male parked his motorbike in a parking lot at 801 Trillium Drive in Kitchener. A short time later, the male observed a vehicle pull up beside the motorbike. The driver was seen attempting to take the victim’s helmet and gloves.

The victim attempted to intervene and was struck by the car as the driver attempted to flee. The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at Grand River Hospital.
