Stanley Cup Visits Ayr

The Village of Ayr is hockey central on Wednesday as the Stanley Cup makes its way to the North Dumfries community.

Ayr native and member of the Cup-winning Los Angeles Kings, Kyle Clifford, will be in town, with Lord Stanley’s mug in hand.

He’ll attend a community celebration at the North Dumfries Community Complex from 3pm until 7pm.

You can get up close to the Cup while also taking in a barbecue, games and other activities.

The last time the Stanley Cup made an official stop in Ayr was in 1994, when Jay Wells brought it there, after playing with the New York Rangers.
