Guelph Police say a 22-year-old man has died as a result of being struck by a vehicle over the weekend.

Police say Karri Oksanen was crossing York Road near Ontario Street just before 1am Saturday, when he was hit by a truck heading eastbound.

He later died of his injuries in hospital.
