The 20th annual UpTown Waterloo Jazz Festival kicks off this evening.

The event, which is free to attend, runs through Sunday.

UpTown Waterloo Business Improvement Area Executive Director, Patti Brooks tells 570 News they have a stellar line up this year.

One of the headliners is Holly Cole, who will be performing tomorrow night at 9 o’clock on the main stage at Waterloo City Hall.

First up tonight is Dee Dee and the Dirty Martinis at 6 o’clock, also on the main stage.

A secondary stage will be set up at the Waterloo Public Square.
