Considered Armed & Dangerous

Waterloo Regional Police are asking for the public’s help as they search for 25 year old Joseph Bevan of Kitchener who is wanted in connection with alleged gun trafficking.

He faces a number of firearms related charges.

Bevan is described by police as an associate of a father and son charged with selling firearms to suspected gang members.

He is considered armed and should not be approached — anyone with information in regards to his location or recent activities is urged to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.

58 year old Robert Wilson and his 20 year old son Ryan face four counts of trafficking guns after reporting a break-in at the family home on Wellington Street North in Kitchener.

Police say they have also charged 60-year-old Nancy Wilson with public mischief/obstructing police.

This is the same home where a gun seizure took place earlier this month.

Police say during that raid they seized around 5,600 rounds of ammunition.

Police say a search of a home on Louisa Street, also this month, turned up a loaded 12 gauge shotgun and ammunition.
