A Kitchener man has claimed the top prize in the Dream Lottery draw in London, which supports three hospital foundations in that community.
Russ Wilton has decided to forgo a new, fully furnished home and will instead take a cash payout: $1,000,000.
Wilton’s lucky ticket was drawn out of close to 140,000 that were sold.
Even with the payout, the hospital foundations expect to share in over $1.1-million in proceeds.
