Friday @ Grey Silo

CHECK THE LEADERBOARD

The galleries grew on Friday at the first ever Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.

So much so, that LPGA officials were buzzing about it being one of the better attended Friday’s they have seen on the tour this year.

A field behind RIM Park is also being mowed to make way for more parking.

“It’s awesome, the crowds have been great and look forward to the weekend, hopefully we’ll have more people out.” said Stacy Lewis.

Lewis was 7-under on Friday and is 6-under after her first 36 holes, just two shots off the lead as of Friday evening.

A lot of low scores are being put up on holes 5 and 6, back to back par 5’s.

Lexi Thompson, 7-under for the tournament, was 4-under on those two holes in her first two rounds.
