Serious dog attack in Kitchener

A 31-year-old woman is in hospital with serious injuries after being mauled by a large dog in Kitchener.
Regional Police say the woman was attacked just after midnight outside an apartment building on King Street East.
Police say the owner of the dog was leaving the building when the dog lost control.
Police say the woman suffered injuries to her head, neck, arm, and back.
The dog was placed in quarantine by the Humane Society and the investigation is continuing.
