Results look good for local high school students

Results are in from the province-wide annual Grade 10 Literacy testing.
They show students attending local Catholic Board schools generally outperformed those with the Public Board.
In fact, according to today’s Record, all 5 Catholic Secondary Schools met or exceeded the provincial average.
Results show 82% of students across the province met the provincial standard, a level matched by students with the Waterloo Region District School Board. Local Catholic Board students had a success rate of 85%.
