A scary moment this afternoon on Fischer-Hallman near Huron Road.

Police say one vehicle was travelling Northbound on Fischer-Hallman and one Southbound, when one of them crossed the centre line and collided with the other.

Three people were taken to hospital, one to Hamilton via air ambulance, one to Grand River and one to Cambridge.

Their injuries are not known at this time and Fischer-Hallman is expected to stay closed until 8 or 9 tonight. The closure is between Huron Road and New Dundee.

The accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. and two people were trapped in one of the vehicles until crews arrived on scene.
