It’s a big day for the Region of Waterloo International Airport.

American Airlines launches its non-stop daily jet service between Waterloo Region and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport today.

Flying under the banner American Eagle, the service will provide connections to over 250 cities in over 40 countries.

Region of Waterloo International Airport General Manager Chris Wood tells 570 News that it’s a great opportunity to fly anywhere in the world.

In an effort to provide more convenience, American Eagle has implemented a 6 dollar per day parking fee which it says is substantially lower than the competitors.
