CTT & Kitchener Mayor Head To Germany

Two reps from Canada’s Tech Triangle, along with the City of Kitchener’s Mayor and Economic Development Director are headed for Germany.

They are traveling to the Bavarian country for what Mayor Carl Zehr calls an “after market trip”. Zehr says they will be solidifying and expanding existing business between Germany and the city.

He says the a week long trip  that also includes a trip to an inter-solar show, and visits to Munich and Cologne.

Zehr tells 570 News they will be traveling a lot of places in a short period of time and spreading the goodwill of Kitchener. He says the purpose of these trips is to increase trade activity, jobs and investments in our community.

This is the 2nd year that Zehr has been on a trade mission. He went to Brazil last fall.

In other local trade mission news, Waterloo Mayor Brenda Halloran is headed for India in late October.
