Cab drivers in Waterloo Region are being extra cautious today.

After one driver was robbed, and another fled over fears of being robbed.

Regional police say the first incident happened early Sunday morning on Cedarwoods Crescent in Kitchener.

Police say the driver was approached by a group of teen boys, threatened and robbed.

Then late last night a cabbie in the Rolling Hills Drive area of Waterloo says he felt threatened by two young men, thought he was going to be robbed, and fled in his taxi.

Officers are continuing to investigate both cases.
