Cambridge Fire Names New Deputy Chief

The City of Cambridge has a new Deputy Fire Chief.

Jon Rehill was named to the position.

He first joined Cambridge Fire in 1991 and has moved up the ranks and most recently served as Chief of Public Education.

“We are pleased to see Jon move to the Deputy level and recognize his important contributions to the Fire Department which benefit the community as a whole,” says Bill Chesney, Cambridge’s Fire Chief.

Rehill created the Corporate-wide Emergency Management Program for the City along with implementing an Emergency Preparedness program.

“We have a dynamic and very strong focus on community education at the fire department here in Cambridge,” says Jon Rehill, Deputy Fire Chief-Administration.  “I am looking forward to the new challenges that will be part of my deputy role.”
