Ontario PC’s set a date to pick a candidate

The drum up to the byelection in Kitchener-Waterloo continues.

Most recently, a date has been set for the Ontario PC Kitchener-Waterloo Riding Association to choose a candidate to run in the seat vacated by Elizabeth Witmer.

In a release the Riding Association says, “The path to a more prosperous Ontario will start here in Kitchener-Waterloo with the selection of the Ontario PC candidate who will send the clear signal that the government needs to focus on job creation and stop overspending.”

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20 at St. George Banquet Hall Conference and Events Centre, 665 King Street North, Waterloo.

Registration is at 6:30 p.m. and closes at 7:30 p.m. when the meeting is called to order.
