Hockey Canada has named Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and GM Steve Spott the Head Coach of Canada’s National Junior team for the 2013 World Championships in Russia.

Spott tells 570News knowing the pressures of being on the bench with the Rangers every Friday night at the Aud, will help in Russia.

Spott will be making his fifth appearance on a Team Canada coaching staff and second with Canada’s National Junior Team.

He was an assistant coach at the 2010 World Juniors, winning a silver medal.
