Officials have contained a chemical leak in the Arnold Street area — but the road remains closed.

Regional Police, Fire and Hazmat crews were called to Arnold Meat Packers around 12:30 this afternoon.

The street was blocked off — and businesses within 100 meters were evacuated from the area.

No one was injured in the incident.
