A Guelph woman, hurt when she was struck by a car, has now died from those injuries.

Police say 81-year-old Erzsebet Trungel died last night.  

She was hit while walking along Metcalfe Street Wednesday afternoon;  when a car backed out of a driveway.

Police say they are still investigating.
