British police say a Canadian woman has been formally charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of her two babies and according to British reports, the case has a Kitchener connection.

Although police have not released her name, the British media have identified her as 34-year-old jewelry designer Felicia Boots.

The suspect’s husband was identified as Jeffrey Boots, a former investment banker with the Bank of Montreal and according to the Telegraph newspaper, Jeffrey’s parents live in Kitchener.

Felicia Boots was arrested following the discovery of the bodies of a 14-month-old girl and a 10-week-old boy at her London home earlier this week.

London Metropolitan Police say she will appear at South Western Magistrates’ Court today.
Neighbours say the couple had moved into their luxury home in the Wandsworth area just two weeks ago.
