Regional Police releasing the name of a Waterloo man who died after being hit while riding his bike on the weekend, in Wellesley Township.

52-year-old Barrie Conrod was struck and killed Sunday afternoon while riding on Herrgott Rd.

Police say Conrod was wearing a helmet, but sustained life threatening head injuries.  Another cyclist wasn’t hurt.

Police are still looking for witnesses.
