Cross border shoppers may be smiling a bit brighter today.

Target has announced another location in Waterloo Region where they’re aiming to build one of their flagship stores.

The Laurentian Mall in Kitchener, replacing the Zellers store there.  The summer of next year is when doors will open.

Target is opening more than 125 stores in this country;  the majority will start selling items sometime next year.

The first Target to open locally will be in about a year at the Cambridge Centre Mall.  Other stores set to open next year will be in Fergus, in Waterloo at Conestoga Mall, and in Guelph at Stone Road Mall.
