Rangers win Game 6; force a deciding Game 7 in Plymouth

The Kitchener Rangers have forced a deciding game in their OHL Western Conference semi-final against the Whalers.

The Rangers doubled Plymouth 4-2 at The Aud last night, setting the stage for a winner-take-all game seven tomorrow night in Plymouth.

Curtis Meighan scored the winner – his first career playoff goal.

Speaking on the 570 News postgame show, he called it “unbelievable” but added the team still has one more game to focus on and that’s the job now: getting prepared.

The victory also means rugged Rangers forward Tyler Randell has now served his 10 game suspension for a hit in their last series against Owen Sound.

Randell says he’s ready to go, adding he’s been working harder than before during his time off, so there will be no issues with his legs.

570 News has tomorrow night’s contest, starting at 7:00.

The winner of this series will take on the London Knights in the Western Conference Final.
