Kitchener Rangers head coach Steve Spott is promising a better effort when the club takes on the Whalers in Plymouth tomorrow night.

The Rangers fell 2-0 to the Whalers at The Aud last night, with Plymouth scoring both goals in the 3rd period.

The OHL playoff series is tied at one win each.

Spott says the Rangers played a “quiet” game and allowed the Whalers to stick around until they finally scored.

He told the Rangers postgame show on 570 News, his club was “way too cute, way too fancy” and played an October game in April.

570 News has tomorrow night’s broadcast starting at 7:00.
