Rangers take 3-0 series lead over Attack after 4-1 win in Game 3

Michael Catenacci had two goals and added an assist to lead the Kitchener Rangers to a 4-1 win over the Owen Sound Attack last night in their first round OHL Playoff series.

The Rangers now have a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference quarter-final and can end the series Wednesday in Owen Sound.

Catenacci’s three points gives him eight for the series and a tie for the OHL points lead in the playoffs.

Cody Sol had a goal and an assist for the Rangers, while Zach Lorentz also scored.

Andrew Crescenzi picked up a pair of assists.

Chris Bigras replied for Owen Sound.

Kitchener goalie John Gibson turned aside 43 shots for the win, while Jordan Binnington stopped 27 of 31 shots for his second loss of the playoffs.
