It’s a big weekend for the Waterloo Region Museum.
It’s been open for awhile now, but today and tomorrow it celebrates its grand opening.
In conjunction with the opening, the museum will also launch three new exhibits.
Among them: “What Makes Us Who We Are? – an exploration of more than 12,000 years of Waterloo Region’s history.”
It’s the largest municipally owned and operated museum in all of Ontario.
Hours today are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. with the official opening at 10 a.m.
Tomorrow, it’s open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is free both days.
