Google+ likely to steal users from Facebook

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and now Google+. It’s a lot of social networking sites to juggle but at least one local expert doubts users will stick with all of them forever.

Matt Martin is the co-founder of Echo Sims, a local company that helps businesses translate their marketing plan online using social media.

He tells 570 News, he expects users to juggle Google+ and Facebook for a while but he thinks many will eventually make the switch.  “I think (Google+) is definitely going to be a big enough player and that there’s enough people out there who…use Facebook just because that is the best that there is and that’s where everybody else is, but they’re not unnecessarily happy users,” Martin says.

He says many users are getting annoyed with all the clutter on Facebook, so it will be interesting to see who migrates over. However, he thinks a transition would take a long time simply because Facebook is so big.
