Near poisoning is life lesson

A close call in Kitchener yesterday afternoon for a 3-year old girl.
Regional Police say the youngster picked up a water bottle her father had set down and took a sip out of it.
But police say the bottle actually contained weed killer.
Fortunately the child quickly spit it out.
Police say the girl is fine, but was checked out by medical officials just to be on the safe side.
Police stress the importance of keeping such chemicals in their original containers and out of the reach of children.
