Chamber debates set

The greater K-W Chamber of Commerce is hosting a series of debates for local federal election candidates.

The chamber has invited candidates to participate in discussions on the economy, healthcare, skills development and education as well as municipal issues.

Ian Maclean President and CEO of the greater K-W Chamber of Commerce says the event is open to Chamber members as well as the general public.  “Business issues are community issues.  It’s about jobs, it’s about quality of life, and being able to enjoy existing opportunities in the community.”

The debate for the riding of Kitchener-Conestoga will beheld on Monday April 18th at Woolwich Memorial Arena at 7:00 p.m.

Kitchener Centre riding debates will be held on April 21st at Kitchener City Hall in the rotunda at 7:00 p.m.

The Kitchener-Waterloo federal riding debates are set for 7:00 p.m. on April 26th at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation complex.

All chamber debates will be streamed live at greaterkwchamber.com.
