Region maintains AAA rating

Waterloo Region has one strong financial track record.
That according to Moody Investors Service.
They have given the Region the highest credit rating possible.
That means that the region’s debt is low, and its’ history of meeting fiscal targets is strong, when compared with other Canadian municipalities.
Regional Chair Ken Seiling says that Waterloo Region’s future focused budgets have helped the region maintain this good financial position.
