Arrest in assault case

A Guelph man is facing charges in connection with an alleged assault on a female at a pizza restaurant in Waterloo.

Police say a 19-year old woman told them she was touched inappropriately and struck in the face.

The incident happened around 1:00 Thursday morning.

A 25-year-old man is charged with sexual assault and assault.
